Award‑winning author Lilly Gayle was widowed in 2022 after nearly forty‑two years of marriage. A breast cancer survivor, she is the mother of two married daughters and the proud grandmother of two granddaughters and two grandsons. She lives in North Carolina with her Maltipoo, Thor, and works full‑time as an X‑ray technologist and mammographer. In her spare time, she writes paranormal and historical romances because she believes love is always worth the heartache of loss.
